Abstract:Since the regulatory relationship between genes is usually non-stationary, the homogeneity assumption cannot be satisfied when modeling with dynamic Bayesian networks (DBNs). For this reason, the homogeneity assumption in dynamic Bayesian networks should be relaxed. Various methods of combining multiple changepoint processes and DBNs have been proposed to relax the homogeneity assumption. When using a non-homogeneous dynamic Bayesian network to model a gene regulatory network, it is inevitable to infer the cha… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
