Abstract:This chapter highlights gender inequalities that hamper women’s realization of their potential in small-scale fisheries in Malawi. The study uses in-depth analysis of drivers of inequalities and regulatory frameworks in the context of constraints and barriers women face in fish farming based on information from literature on the determinant factors that contribute to marginalization of women.
