Constrained Neutrino Mass Matrix and Majorana Phases

Abstract: We endeavour to constrain the neutrino mass matrix on phenomenological ground and procure simple model independent textures of the latter predicting the two Majorana phases. In this regard, two types of parametrization of neutrino mass matrix: general and exponential are employed. We obtain forty seven predictive neutrino mass matrix textures, out of which twenty five are associated with the general parametrization, and the rest belong to the exponential one. Apart from Type-A/P textures, the rest deal with th… Show more

“…In literature, several phenomenological studies are going on to compute Dirac and Majorana phases [24][25][26]. Rodejohann [27] in his paper pointed out that if 0𝑣𝛽𝛽 decay occurs the Majorana neutrinos will unquestionably have an inverted hierarchical structure.…”

“…Lastly, the PoincarĂ© group permits the Majorana fermions, which have the simplest spinorial representation [29]. Considering these facts, we are going to update the analysis of [26] by considering neutrino mass texture for only for Majorana neutrinos, predicting Majorana phases which will ultimately explain the validity of 0𝑣𝛽𝛽 process.…”
