Conspiracy as a surrogate for religion? Religiosity, spirituality, and affinity towards conspiracy myths in times of crisis

Abstract: In Krisenzeiten gewinnen alternative Weltdeutungen an Definitionsmacht, die Leitbilder der öffentlichen Sphäre in Frage stellen. Im Zuge der COVID-19-Pandemie verbreiten sich solche Narrative in Form von Verschwörungsmythen.
