Consilient evidence affirms expansive stabilizing ligaments in the tyrannosaurid foot

Abstract: Tyrannosaurid dinosaurs were ecologically unique vertebrates as the sole clade of large terrestrial carnivores (adults >400 kg) in their continent-spanning habitats.
