Abstract:Antenatal corticosteroids (ACS) are provided to improve perinatal survival when there is risk of preterm birth. Though evidence suggests increased risk of developing neurobehavioural disorders in exposed offspring, the mechanisms that mediate this relationship remain largely unknown.
