Conservation implications of elucidating the Korean wolf taxonomic ambiguity through whole-genome sequencing

Abstract: The taxonomic status of the now likely extirpated Korean Peninsula wolf has been extensively debated, with some arguing it represents an independent wolf lineage, Canis coreanus.
