Consensus Statements Highlight the Need of Harmonizing Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Management Worldwide

Abstract: In addition to the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) and National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines that are reference standards for the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) in Europe and the USA, several consensus statements, formulated by independent, multidisciplinary panels of specialists, have been developed to provide region-specific guidance for the management of CLL.
