Consensus on Postoperative Recommendations After Transsphenoidal Surgery

Abstract: The data of our study and the literature, and expert opinions from related scientific fields resulted in a consensus on recommendations for patients' conduct to minimize risks after transsphenoidal surgery.

“…Besteht der Verdacht auf eine thyreotrope Insuffizienz, muss vor Aufnahme einer Levothyroxinsubstitution unbedingt eine kortikotrope Insuffizienz ausgeschlossen werden, da sich diese sonst klinisch aggravieren könnte.
