Connecting Disjoint Nodes Through a UAV-Based Wireless Network for Bridging Communication Using IEEE 802.11 Protocols

Abstract: Cooperative aerial wireless networks composed of small unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are easy and fast to deploy and provide on the fly communication facilities in situations where part of the communication infrastructure is destroyed and the survivors need to be rescued on emergency basis. In this article, we worked on such a cooperative aerial UAV-based wireless network to connect the two participating stations. The proposed method provides on the fly communication facilities to connect the two ground stat… Show more

“…On this basis, according to the schematic connection, enter the model selection environment and generally choose the priority model parameter environment. Finally, set the parameter simulation environment, set the running step and time, combined with the dynamic characteristics of hydraulic mechanical calendering, run the digital simulation, and complete the simulation modeling of hydraulic mechanical calendering based on AMESim [15]. The simulation model of hydromechanical calendering was built using an 3 Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing AMESim pressurization circuit.…”

“…5G FWA uses the 3GPP architecture, which is widely acknowledged that enables network operators to deliver ultra-high-speed broadband to users where optical fibre is not physically possible to lay and maintain let alone be economically viable. FWA is considered as a viable alternative to optical fibre and Digital Subscriber Lines (DSL) to support homes and small businesses needing access to wireless services both in suburban and rural environments [3,[58][59][60][61][62]. Figure 2 gives a bird's-eye-view of the evolved aerialto-ground network architecture which features WiFiAAS as the sky segment which is then connected to ground segments via the tethers.…”

“…In the complicated electromagnetic environments, strong interference signals will affect the direction of arrival (DOA) estimation of weak signals. For example, the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) video signal works in the 2.4 GHz or 5.8 GHz industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) frequency band, which is often affected by strong interference signals such as WiFi, Bluetooth and other interference signals [1][2][3][4]. When the amplitudes of interference signal are small, the traditional spectral estimation algorithm can be used to estimate DOA of multiple signals simultaneously.…”
