“…The implementation of BHS as an HTML preprocessor makes this simple to implement within the context of current Web standards and browser software, and also offers a simple mechanism for bridging to new language developments. We have used BHS extensively both in the public domain software archive which we have described here to illustrate its use, and in the MerseyWorld Web-site [20] which is maintained at Liverpool as part of the CONNECT project [21].
