Abstract:The aim of this study is to clarify formability by conical cup test at room temperature of AZ31 magnesium alloy strip produced by the melt drag process. The strip produced by melt drag process was solution heat treated at 400°C, then was rolled with 5% reduction. We investigated the microstructure, crystal orientation, mechanical properties and formability of the strip using conical cup test at room temperature.
