Abstract:We present an update of the most relevant advances of three-dimensional echocardiography for the diagnosis of congenital heart diseases. The evolution of its treatment is analyzed, showing the results obtained in recent years. The functional and structural changes experienced in women with congenital heart disease during pregnancy are discussed, as well as the main health risks and the importance of teamwork in healthcare to treat these patients.
