Congenital external carotid-internal carotid artery anastomosis: a report of three cases and literature review

Abstract: Purpose Congenital external carotid-internal carotid artery (EC-ICA) anastomosis is a cervical arterial variation that was initially reported, based on anatomic dissection, from Japan in 2000.
