Abstract:Resumo: Em 2005, Sérgio Capparelli encontrou Márcia Schmaltz no metrô de Pequim e propôs traduzirem juntos narrativas chinesas para crianças e jovens. Deste encontro, resultou numa coleção de mais de duas centenas de contos, que foram parcialmente publicados em 50 fábulas da China fabulosa (CAPPARELLI; SCHMALTZ, 2007) e em Contos sobrenaturais chineses (SCHMALTZ; CAPPARELLI, 2010).
