Confirmation of local transmission of Orientia tsutsugamushi during scrub typhus outbreaks in Nepal

Abstract: Background:Scrub typhus is a severely ignored tropical disease and a leading cause of undifferentiated febrile illness worldwide caused by infection of an obligate intracellular bacteria Orientia tsutsugamushi.
