In today's society, science and technology are developing rapidly. In the actual production industry, information technologies such as computers and the Internet occupy an important position. Nowadays, there is a lot of room for improvement in the convenience and diversity of management in many production locations and the degree of intelligence in the production process, which is difficult to meet the requirements of today's informatization and intelligence in the production industry. This paper studies the intelligent manufacturing execution design of the gear industry based on the Internet of Things technology, and proves that the production efficiency will be greatly improved after the integration of the Internet of Things technology into the gear manufacturing industry chain. For this research, a series of investigation experiments were conducted. First, the important position of the Internet of Things technology in today's information society and its practicability were fully analyzed, and then combined with the intelligent manufacturing of the gear industry, the analysis was carried out to illustrate its feasibility. Secondly, it analyzes the characteristics of gear manufacturing and considers the materials that it needs to select during manufacturing. In the application model of gear production under the Internet of Things technology, a multi-objective optimization mathematical model is used to calculate the energy efficiency of gear intelligent production. Smaller costs get greater benefits. In the experiment, the FM-700e digital micro hardness tester was used to test the gear hardness to analyze the product quality. At the same time, the error rate of the product when the Internet of Things system is added to the gear production and when the Internet of Things technology is not added, the result is After integrating the Internet of Things technology, the error rate of gear production is reduced by 1.45%, which greatly improves the production efficiency of gears and makes the gear industry more intelligent manufacturing.

Due to the difficulty of traditional spacecraft to meet the requirements of the multi-mission, the modular reconfigurable space robot is proposed which combines the modular reconfigurable concept with the design of the space robot. Contrary to the traditional spacecraft with only one fixed configuration, the modular reconfigurable space robot has rich configurations. By docking/undocking operation of the interfaces between modules, the configuration of the modular reconfigurable space robot is transformed from the initial configuration to the target configuration. The connecting interface is the key mechanism for docking/undocking operation. While ensuring the function and effect of the connecting interface, the space occupancy should be reduced, and the degree of freedom should be minimized. In view of this, a single degree of freedom coupling interface is designed in this paper. The interface mechanism is compact and driven by a micro-DC-motor to achieve the coupling linear motion and rotational motion. The results of the dynamic analysis show that the required driving force of the interface is small, and the motion of the docking/undocking process is stable. It verifies the feasibility of the mechanical design. The principal prototype with the self-locking in power off verifies the effectiveness of the coupling interface. The coupling interfaces can reliably dock and undock.

The Rubik’s Cube mechanism (RCM) is a kind of reconfigurable mechanism with multiple characteristics such as multiple configurations, variable topology, strong coupling, and reconfigurability. Crossover research on the RCM with mathematics, chemistry, cryptography, and other disciplines has led to important breakthroughs and progress. It is obvious that the invention and creation of a new RCM can provide important ideological inspiration and theoretical guidance for the accelerated iterative updating of Rubik’s Cube products and the expansion of their applications. This paper investigates the type synthesis method for a regular hexagonal prism (RHP) RCM (RHPRCM). Through analysis of the reconfigurable movement process of the RCM, two mechanism factors are abstracted, a type synthesis process for the RHPRCM is proposed, a symmetry layout method for the RCM’s revolute axis based on the RHP space polyhedron is proposed, and an analysis method for the intersection of the revolute pair contact surfaces (RPCSs) based on the adjacency matrix is proposed. Taking a revolute axis passing through the center of an RHP and having only one RPCS for each revolute axis as an example, an RHPRCM with different topological structures is synthesized. The relevant research in this paper can provide methodological guidance for the synthesis of other spatial RCMs.
