Conditioned pain modulation is not altered in recreational athletes with Achilles tendinopathy

Abstract: Background: Altered central pain mechanisms is a feature of other chronic pain states and upper limb tendinopathies. It is uncertain whether the same applies to chronic Achilles tendinopathy (AT).
