Using previously established relations based on particle collision frequency, a general equation for the change with time of particle density is presented. The equation is based on the supposition that the nano particle formation follows the mass interaction law, well known from the chemical kinetics. The solution of the equation in equilibrium conditions implies an exponential relation concerning the particle size distribution. Two possibilities exist: distribution with increasing particle density at increasing particle size and distribution with decreasing particle density at increasing particle size. At different values of atom density for the case of closed gas ambient, the size of the largest particle is determined. This allows determining the particle size distribution.
