Condensation in the Feynman--Wilson fluid: upsilon, psi, and Centauro. [Amplitudes, condensation in rapidity and charge variables, symmetry breaking, S matrix]
Abstract:High-multiplicity hadron production amplitudes with long-range rapidity correlations from Regge cuts can exhibit dramatic condensation phenomena in rapidity and charge variables. The rapidity structures viould appear as metastable heavy hadrons such as Upsilon or Psi. Charge-space condensation (spontaneous symmetry breakdown) would produce phenomena resembling observed "Centauro" cosmic-ray events. The conditions necessary for appearance of such phenomena are linked to the conditions for generating electromagn… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
