The integration of wireless antenna sensors for cyber-physical systems has become increasingly prevalent in various biosimilar applications due to the escalating need for monitoring techniques that are efficient, accurate, and reliable. The primary objective of this comprehensive investigation is to offer a scholarly examination of the present advancements, challenges, and potentialities in the realm of wireless antenna sensor technology for monitoring biosimilars. Specifically, the focus will be on the current state of the art in wireless antenna sensor design, manufacturing, and implementation along with the discussion of cyber security trends. The advantages of wireless antenna sensors, including increased sensitivity, real-time data gathering, and remote monitoring, will next be discussed in relation to their use in a variety of biosimilar applications. Furthermore, we will explore the challenges of deploying wireless antenna sensors for biosimilar monitoring, such as power consumption, signal integrity, and biocompatibility concerns. To wrap things off, there will be a discussion about where this subject is headed and why collaborative work is essential to advancing wireless antenna sensor technology and its applications in biosimilar monitoring. In this paper, a novel compact antenna test range based on transmitarray (TA), transmitarray compact antenna test range (TACATR), is proposed. A non-negligible parameter, central cell reference phase (CRP), is defined to harmonize the disturbance field. The CRP not only determines the physical structure of TA, but also can adjust the phase of the desired plane wave field of the quiet zone (QZ). Several strategies are proposed to enhance the performance of QZ of TACATR. The strategies include selecting CRP and the layout of TACATR. To validate the feasibility of TACATR, a 169.6 mm � 169.6 mm TA working at 28 GHz is designed, simulated and fabricated. The measured amplitude peak to peak value (P2P) of the middle QZ plane field is 1.5 dB and the phase P2P is 9.4°.

Plane-Wave Generation through General Near-Field In-Band Reflectarray Direct Layout Optimization with Figure of Merit Constraints in mm-Wave Band

A general near-field (NF) in-band synthesis strategy is presented for the direct layout optimization (DLO) of reflectarrays with application to the generation of plane waves for the mm-wave band. The technique relies on the definition of relevant figures of merit (FoM) and the use of a gradient-based minimization algorithm. To this end, the volume where the NF is computed is divided into a number of disjoint regions where the FoM are defined. These FoM define the performance of the antenna and their direct optimization enables improvement compared to previous approaches described in the literature, while reducing the memory footprint of the algorithm and accelerating computation. The optimization procedure is divided into several stages to facilitate convergence towards a successful outcome. First, a phase-only synthesis is carried out at a single frequency. Then, a reflectarray layout is obtained using a method of moments based on local periodicity, accounting for mutual coupling between elements. Finally, an in-band DLO is performed at a number of frequencies directly optimizing the FoM. The results show that the obtained reflectarray layout complies with the requirements in the frequency range 27 GHz–29 GHz within the 5G new radio n257 band.
