Defects in the textile manufacturing process lead to a great waste of resources and further affect the quality of textile products. Automated quality guarantee of textile fabric materials is one of the most important and demanding computer vision tasks in textile smart manufacturing. This survey presents a thorough overview of algorithms for fabric defect detection. First, this review briefly introduces the importance and inevitability of fabric defect detection towards the era of manufacturing of artificial intelligence. Second, defect detection methods are categorized into traditional algorithms and learning-based algorithms, and traditional algorithms are further categorized into statistical, structural, spectral, and model-based algorithms. The learning-based algorithms are further divided into conventional machine learning algorithms and deep learning algorithms which are very popular recently. A systematic literature review on these methods is present. Thirdly, the deployments of fabric defect detection algorithms are discussed in this study. This paper provides a reference for researchers and engineers on fabric defect detection in textile manufacturing.

One of the important producers of the industrial industry in our country is the textile sector. The importance of the textile industry for our country is growing day by day with increasing production and employment. In order to keep up with this growth, manufacturers need to go beyond their existing systems, show their differences and make the right innovations in their production. Considering these values, changes to be made in the yarn structure or dyeing process come to the fore. In this study, the dyeing process is discussed. Weaving and home textiles, which are an important part of the textile industry, have a wide market. There are different dyeing systems that have an important market for the products made in these areas. Spaced and smart painting, which are among these painting systems, do not meet the needs in the desired direction. A new machine design is needed to provide the desired features. In the study conducted in this direction; A commercially unavailable machine has been implemented, designed and manufactured to generate random short patterns with mechanical drive. In project scope; First of all , the paint stand to be integrated into the system was designed . Different yarn lifters and godet systems have been designed. Paint container, drive system and electronic panel are also mounted on the system. In addition, new software has been developed within the scope of the project to provide automatic control of the system. Studies were carried out with PLC and Arduino electronic circuit board. In the first stage, motor driver circuits were designed with PLC and Arduino. Then, with the software loaded on the PLC and Arduino processor board, the frequency values to be given to the inverter were started by changing the threshold ranges we wanted. Lifters and painting cylinders are connected to each other so that the same sequence is not repeated. Thus, in this study carried out in line with the needs, both a new machine and a new textile product with different dye patterns emerged.

Bu proje, tekstil endüstrisine Endüstri 4.0 prensiplerini entegre etmeyi amaçlayarak özellikle ağartma sürecinde makine parametre ayarlarının otomasyonuna odaklanmaktadır. Endüstri 4.0; otomasyon, veri odaklı karar alma ve artan verimlilik özellikleri ile ayırt edilen, çeşitli endüstri sektörlerinde dönüşümsel bir değişimi temsil etmektedir. Sanayileşme alanında tarihsel olarak önemli bir yer tutan tekstil endüstrisinde, Endüstri 4.0'ın benimsenmesi önemli avantajlar vadetmektedir. Bu avantajlar arasında artan operasyonel verimlilik, düşen işletme maliyetleri, yükseltilmiş ürün kalitesi ve artan müşteri memnuniyeti bulunmaktadır. Proje, bir ağartma makinesi için makine ayarlarını otomatikleştirmeye odaklanarak, insan müdahalesini en aza indirgemeyi ve standartlaştırılmış üretim protokollerini sağlamayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu projenin temeli, kumaş türüne bağlı olarak belirlenen kritik makine ayar parametrelerinin sorunsuz bir şekilde makine üzerinde otomatik olarak ayarlanmasını sağlayacak bir sistem geliştirmektir. Bu sistem sadece operatör kaynaklı hataları azaltmakla kalmayıp aynı zamanda kaynak kullanımını optimize edecektir. Proje, Endüstri 4.0 akıllı fabrikaların kurulmasına önemli bir katkıda bulunmaktadır. Uygulama stratejisi, güçlü endüstriyel iletişim sistemlerini içermekte olup, bunlar arasında RFID (Radyo-Frekansı Tanımlama) teknolojileri ve SCADA ("Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition" Türkçe: Gözetleyici Kontrol ve Veri Toplama Sistemi) öne çıkmaktadır. Bu sistemler, üretim sürecinin inceliklerini izlemede ve yönetmede kritik bir rol oynamaktadır. Bu araştırmanın sonuçları, Endüstri 4.0 konseptlerinin tekstil sektörüne başarılı bir şekilde entegre edildiğini göstermektedir. Bu entegrasyon, insan müdahalesini makine parametrelerini ayarlama sürecinde önemli ölçüde azaltmakta ve nihayetinde üretim verimliliğini yeni zirvelere taşımaktadır. Sonuç olarak, bu araştırma, özellikle ağartma gibi tekstil sektörü için en önemli proseslerden birinde hata eğilimli süreçlerde, üretim operasyonlarının devrim niteliğinde değiştiği bir geleceğe ışık tutarak, Endüstri 4.0'ın tekstil endüstrisindeki dönüştürücü potansiyelini vurgulamaktadır.
