Concealment of Amputation: Silicone Finger Prosthesis

Abstract: Hand deformities affects function and esthetics. Moreover, for the majority of patients, the loss of a finger can lead to psychological problems. This report describes the fabrication of a silicone finger prosthesis for a patient after an accident. The finger prosthesis was retained by a vacuum effect on the stump.
