Abstract:Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is an infectious disease. Following its outbreak in Wuhan, China (December 2019), the rapid spread of the virus caused alarm around the world. The World Health Organization declared this outbreak a pandemic, and countries around the world continue to struggle with rising confirmed cases.
