Computing Effective Hamiltonians of Coupled Electromagnetic Systems

Abstract: In this paper, we present an efficient procedure to compute the effective Hamiltonian matrix of a coupled electromagnetic system consisting of subsystems that are coupled to a discrete number of channels through couplers.
