The computer program PRONMR 1 and 2 has been developed for the reduction of data from one-and two-dimensional Fourier transform NMR experiments. This software system is written in FORTRAN 77 and is largely machiue-independent. Hardware requirements are a device for NMR data transfer, a graphic display, a plotter and a computer. Implemented PRONMR software features are various types of apodization of HDs, routines for one-and two-dimensional Fourier transformations, phase corrections and algorithms for rapid quantisation of NMR spectral features, including the presentation of data originating from 2D spectra. The versatility of this software system is illustrated by extracting 'H and uC NMR data stemming from various one-and two-dimensional pulse experiments for structure elucidation of a sesquiterpene.
