Computer modelling of warm powder compaction in rigid dies: Effect of nonuniform heating

Abstract: 621.762Computer modelling is used to study warm compaction. Relationships of irreversible porous body flow and the finite element method are used. It is established that in view of nonuniform temperature distribution within a compact there is radial flow of powder.
