Abstract:Background: Legg–Calvé–Perthes (LCP) is a common orthopedic childhood disease leading to a deformity of the femoral head and to an adaptive deformity of the acetabulum. The altered joint biomechanics can result in early joint degeneration requiring total hip arthroplasty.
