Computer-Aided Drafting in a First-Year Electrical Engineering Class

Abstract: Some of the problems of introducing computer-aided drafting, to a large first-year class, are discussed. The favoured solution is to use a general-purpose drafting package, adapted so that students can work on a simple printed circuit layout, during the second of two sessions.
