Abstract: Certain pulmonary lesions may be challenging to biopsy with conventional computed tomography percutaneous lung biopsy (CTPLB) under local anaesthesia (LA) which requires consistent patient breath holding to minimise complications. We aim to describe and evaluate the feasibility of CTPLB under general anaesthesia (GA) with apnoea, comparing results to patients undergoing biopsy under LA.
