Abstract:Numerous chemosensors have been reported for the detection of heavy metal ions in drinking water or in biological system pertaining to health concerns. Here, in the present study we have focused on synthesis of simple, efficient chemosensors for one of such ion i. e. Cu2+ due to its prevalent importance. Chemosensor (3) has been synthesized from sulfanilamide and nitro‐benzaldehyde which was further characterized with various analyses such as 1H NMR, 13C NMR, FT‐IR and mass spectrometry. The absorbance and emi… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
