Computational Opioid Prescribing: A Novel Application of Clinical Pharmacokinetics

Abstract: We implemented a pharmacokinetics-based mathematical modeling technique using algebra to assist pre-scribers with point-of-care opioid dosing. We call this technique computational opioid prescribing (COP).
