Abstract:The palladium-catalyzed three-component domino reaction of ortho-iodostyrene, 2,3-dicarbomethoxy-7-oxanorbornadiene (ONBD), and phenylboronic acid discovered by the Lautens group provides a convenient method to synthesize indenes derivatives.
