Computational analysis of propeptide‐containing proteins and prediction of their post‐cleavage conformation changes

Abstract: A propeptide is removed from a precursor protein to generate its active or mature form. Propeptides play essential roles in protein folding, transportation, and activation and are present in about 2.3% of reviewed proteins in the UniProt database.
