Congenital absence of permanent teeth can be treated by means of dental implants and prosthetics. Tooth autotransplantation is an alternative in growing patients because continued eruption of the transplanted tooth and associated alveolar bone growth can be expected. This clinical report presents tooth autotransplantation in a 10year-old boy with chronic maxillary rhinosinusitis, diagnosed by the department of otorhinolaryngology. The patient's mandibular second premolars were transplanted to a congenitally edentulous maxillary premolar region. There was insufficient alveolar bone during transplantation because of pneumatization, but normal root development with vertical alveolar bone growth was observed during a 3-year follow-up. AbstrakPerawatan komprehensif diperlukan pada pasien dengan celah bibir dan langit-langit. Perawatan yang akan dilakukan pada pasien antara lain tindakan bedah korektif dan perawatan orthodontik. Salah satu perawatan yang harus disiapkan sebelum tindakan bedah korektif adalah rehabilitasi rongga mulut hingga tercapai lingkungan bebas infeksi. Seorang anak perempuan usia 15 tahun datang ke YPPCBL RSGM Unpad untuk mendapatkan perawatan terhadap celah langitlangitnya. Rencana perawatan yang akan dilakukan meliputi perawatan orthodontik pre-bone grafting, bone grafting, dan perawatan orthodontik post-bone grafting. Sebagai persiapan dilakukan rehabilitasi rongga mulut, meliputi perawatan saluran akar gigi 11, 26 dan 46 yang mengalami nekrosis pulpa, serta restorasi komposit terhadap gigi 25. Perawatan dilakukan dengan protaper manual system (hand-use) dan bahan pengisi yang dipilih adalah gutta-percha karena tingkat keberhasilannya yang tinggi. Perawatan saluran akar terhadap gigi 11, 26, 46 telah dilakukan dan mencapai hasil yang diharapkan. Salah satu pilihan bahan pengisi saluran akar adalah gutta percha. Gutta-percha terbuat dari bahan alami, bersifat fleksible, dan mengisi saluran akar dengan adekuat bersama sealer, dan lebih stabil terhadap degradasi. Salah satu kunci keberhasilan bagi koreksi celah bibir dan langitlangit adalah lingkungan rongga mulut bebas infeksi yang tercapai pada tahap rehabilitasi rongga mulut karena sangat menunjang tahap perawatan selanjutnya.Kata kunci: Celah bibir dan langit-langit, Rehabilitasi rongga mulut, Perawatan saluran akar, Gutta Percha
