Comprehensive Recovery of Valuable Metals from Lead-zinc Tailings by Flotation

Abstract

This study takes lead-zinc flotation tailings as the research object. The process of “tailings regrinding-lead-zinc mixed floatation-activation zinc separation” is used to comprehensively recover valuable metal elements from the original tailings. The results show that the grinding fineness is -74 μm under the condition that m accounts for 82%; the recovery rates of lead and zinc in the lead-zinc mixed concentrate obtained from the open-circuit test are 36.4% and 18.0%, respectively; the recovery rate of zinc in the coarse zinc concentrate is 57.6%; the valuable metal elements in the original tailings are effectively recovered.
