Abstract: Relevance. The calcifying epithelial odontogenic tumor, also known as Pindborg tumor, is a locally aggressive neoplasm characterized by strands and medullary formations of flat and clear cells, often accompanied by spherical calcifications and amyloid-stained hyaline deposits. The Pindborg tumor is rare, representing less than 1% of odontogenic tumors, and typically manifests in individuals aged 20 to 60 years.
