Abstract:Relevance. The calcifying epithelial odontogenic tumor, also known as Pindborg tumor, is a locally aggressive neoplasm characterized by strands and medullary formations of flat and clear cells, often accompanied by spherical calcifications and amyloid-stained hyaline deposits.
