“…This limitation ( Hf ≤ 4.5 × 10 8 A/m sec) is called Hertz criteria, which needs to be obeyed. In this study, distilled water was used as solvent and ferrofluids at a concentration of 1 mg/mL were prepared for entire ferrite samples. ,, Following Hertz conditions, we have recorded the induction heating response of all the samples under an applied ac magnetic field ( H = 14.92 kA/m) for a time duration of 900 s and is shown in Figure d. It is noted that the pure ferrite sample reached 59 °C temperature from room temperature in 900 s. All other Sm doped samples, i.e., Sm-05 (CNF), Sm-10 (CNF), and Sm-15 (CNF) attained 45, 43, and 41 °C respectively in 900 s time duration.…”
