Compositions and properties of microbial residues formed by three single species fungi and mixed strains in cellulose-containing liquid media

Abstract: The microbial residues, due to their closely connection with humic substances (HS), aroused our considerable interest. The method of shake-flask in liquid culture was adopt to accumulate them, in which the cellulose served as the sole C source. The microbial suspensions including Trichoderma viride (Tv), Aspergillus niger (An), Penicillium (P) and mixed strains (Ms) were inoculated into the cellulose culture fluid respectively. The incubation was performed for 70 days at a constant temperature of 28 ºC. The re… Show more

“…Based on this hydrogen bonding pattern, all of the CNCs in the different size ranges are in the I β crystalline form. The vibrations at 2919 and 2853 cm –1 are assigned to aliphatic C–H stretching . The increase in the absorbance of these vibrations for the CNCs in the size ranges above 800 and 450–800 nm suggests that most CNCs in these size ranges contain longer aliphatic chains.…”

“…The vibrations at 2919 and 2853 cm −1 are assigned to aliphatic C−H stretching. 38 The increase in the absorbance of these vibrations for the CNCs in the size ranges above 800 and 450−800 nm suggests that most CNCs in these size ranges contain longer aliphatic chains. The vibration at 1650 cm −1 is assigned to the O−H bending of adsorbed water, which is consistent with the peaks in the broad band from 3400 to 3200 cm −1 .…”
