Composition of the Edaphic Mesofauna in Three Environments: Conserved, in Transition and Altered, Atlantic Forest, Brazil

Abstract: The mesofauna consists of organisms with a length between 0.2-2.0 mm, which play an important role in the ecosystem, such as the redistribution and mineralization of organic matter, enabling several benefits for the vegetation, besides being considered bioindicators of quality of the soil.
