Abstract:Studies of photoluminescence, relative light output and optical transmission of organic single-layer composite scintillators with different grain sizes have been carried out. The paper presents the dependences of these values on the grain sizes for fractions <0.04; <0.06; 0.06…0.1; 0.1…0.3; 0.3…0.5; 0.5…1.0 mm. Possible physical mechanisms of such results are discussed.
