Abstract: Simple repair of the hernia opening, Ventral Hernia Repair (VHR) has been confronted by a more definitive goal of restoration of abdominal muscular strength and wall function accomplished by mobilizing abdominal wall muscles and closing with inlay mesh, Component Separation Repair (CSR).
