Component image filing system for image synthesis

Abstract

It i s necessary t h a t a database systema t i c a l l y s t o r e and manage v a r i o u s kinds of images and quickly s y n t h e s i z e a new image using t h e s t o r e d images. This paper des c r i b e s a new method t o manage material image d a t a which are s u i t a b l e f o r image synt h e s i s and t h e synthesized images. The method uses "component images f o r s y n t h e s i s , I ' each of which i s based on i t s meaning such a s "flower" o r "person."
