Complications of sclerotherapy

Abstract: Sclerotherapy is a popular, simple, safe, and effective alternative to ablation of refluxing veins in patients with chronic venous insufficiency due to chronic venous disease. Over the last two decades, we have used this method and its safer variant of ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy, solely or adjunctly, to ablate all types of superficial refluxing veins.
