“…This approximately corresponds to the references with regard to the application of IPLS for leg telangiectases (blisters, 2%-42%; hypopigmentation, 3%-20%; hyperpigmentation, 4%-50%; scarring, 0.5%-21%). 24,25 In the treatment of PWSs, FLPDL caused comparatively frequent postinflammatory hyperpigmentation reported at a frequency of 9% to 57 % 5,6,32,35,[46][47][48] and postinflammatory hypopigmentation in 2% to 10 %. 3,4,6,16,46 Hyperpigmentation and hypopigmentation were also the most common transient side effects of the long-pulsed FLPDL treatment of leg veins.…”

“…24 Other European series have found a much lower degree of pigmentary change when fair-skinned patients were treated. 25 From our experience, multiple treatments (Ͼ3) at 4-to 8-week intervals, avoidance of use of high fluences, and the prevention of sunbathing before and after laser treatment are important factors affecting the efficacy and final outcome of the PDL treatment of hypertrophic scars in Asians.…”

“…Blasen treten selten auf (1-5,9%; [67,80]). Transiente Hypopigmentierungen wurden in 2,2-26%, Hyperpigmentie-rungen (besonders an Extremitäten) in bis zu 85% der Fälle beschrieben [14,39,43,55,67,79,80]. Atrophe und hypertrophe Narbenbildungen werden sehr selten beobachtet (0,1%-4,3% bzw.…”
