Abstract:The causes and development of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) are not fully understood and can be influenced by various factors such as genetic, environmental, and immune system dysfunction. With chronicity, IBD requires long-term medication use. Therefore, strictly adhering to the prescribed treatment regimen is essential to prevent relapses and achieve remission.
