Abstract:The article presents a clinical case of malaria in a 29-year - old man without immunodeficiency, complicated by the development of infectious - toxic shock, anemia, kidney damage. The brief literature review discusses the complexity of etiotropic therapy, the problem of pathogen resistance to antimalarial drugs, pathogenetic mechanisms that contribute to the formation of shock, anemia and kidney damage in tropical malaria.
