Complex Behavior in a “Simple” Task

Abstract: The present study is part of a research program being conducted to investigate the process by which man discovers rules of environmental generators. Using the binary choice situation, five subgenerators having a range of values of E1 from 0.3 to 0.7, and an average value of 0.5 were operated for 100 prediction trials at a time.
