“…In early progressive growth phase of the tumor, bacterial contamination of the masses usually occurs with possible neutrophilic and haemorrhagic exudation. This might progress to a subacute (regressive growth) phase in which more of the mononuclear cells (lymphocytes, macrophages and plasma cells) predominate and to the chronic phase in which these mononuclear cells and fibroplasia are found (Tella et al, 2004). This is in agreement with previous studies (Hsiao et al, 2002;Pai et al, 2011) in which tumor infiltrating lymphocytes were associated with regressive growth phase of the tumor than the progressive growth phase.…”

“…Reported side effects are generally mild to non-existent, but may include anti-mitotic effects on the bone marrow, such as mild neutropenia and mild leucopenia, and mild gastrointestinal upset. Other side effects are possible (Amber and others 1990, Singh and others 1996, Tella and others 2004, Nak and others 2005, Varughese and others 2012). As with previous reports, this patient responded well to vincristine therapy, experiencing only mild side effects of leucopenia, eosinopenia, neutropenia, diarrhoea and hyporexia.…”

“…TVT, which is the most common of genital tract tumors of canine species, is also known as canine Sticker's sarcoma, venereal granuloma, contagiosum venereal sarcoma, contagiosum lymphosarcoma, canine condyloma, contagiosum lymphoma and infectious sarcoma (Rogers 1997, Smith and Washbourn 1998, Gurel et al 2002. It has a relatively high incidence rate among all tumor types (Tella et al 2004). In this review, the most critical points of TVT are emphasized.…”
