Complete Experiments in Meson Photoproduction

Abstract: The problem of the Complete Experiment for photoproduction of pseudoscalar mesons is treated. First the issue is reviewed briefly in the context of full production spin amplitudes as well as a truncated partial wave analysis (TPWA). Complete sets of polarization observables are given for both cases. Then, a numerical procedure for single energy TPWA fits is presented and first results are shown.
